LaunchPad’s renewed masterplan to seed next-gen innovation in Singapore

Since we developed Block 71 Ayer Rajah Crescent for startups to call home in 2015, LaunchPad @ One-North has since transformed into a vibrant hub spanning 7 blocks.

LaunchPad @ One-North has supported over 2,400 startups, including three tech unicorns – Carousell, PatSnap, and Nium – and hosts over 30 incubators, accelerators, and venture capital firms.

Following its 10th year anniversary, we launched a refreshed masterplan to turn LaunchPad into Asia’s flagship startup destination, which will seed next-gen innovation in Singapore.

The masterplan covers enhanced and dedicated infrastructure to support the industry, new community-building programmes, and policies to support startups of all stages.

Additionally, a new LaunchPad @ Punggol Digital District (LaunchPad @ PDD) will be built for more advanced startups to testbed their innovations and collaborate with the PDD ecosystem.

Read on for a flavour of what to expect from LaunchPad.

Asia's Flagship Startup Destination

Kampong AI: Singapore’s hub and home for AI

Kampong AI: Singapore's Hub and Home for AI will be a dedicated space for AI-related companies, startups, and talent to congregate and testbed innovations. It will be the first startup community in Singapore with both work and living spaces, where startups can set up shop with their researchers, developers, and key personnel all under one roof.

Slated for completion in 2028, the 14,500 sqm AI block will accommodate up to 70 companies and event spaces. The other adjacent block will offer convenient residential accommodation with over 200 units.

A pilot phase of Kampung AI will be launched from March 2026. Contact us directly at launchpad@jtc.gov.sg to express your interest.

New LaunchPad @ Punggol Digital District (LaunchPad @ PDD)

LaunchPad will expand to Punggol Digital District in phases from late 2026.

PDD is purpose-built to testbed innovation in the areas of fintech, robotics, and cybersecurity, and LaunchPad @ PDD is a perfect fit for the PDD’s ecosystem.

Startups can work with industry players to turn big ideas into real-world solutions, using PDD’s Open Digital Platform (ODP). The ODP collects district data, powering a digital twin that allows real-world testing in a virtual environment. This offers plug and play access to PDD’s infrastructure – lifts, gantries, doors – for district-wide deployment and testbedding.

Community-building programmes to power big ideas

Startups can look forward to new community-building programmes at LaunchPad @ One-North.

MDDI’s Lorong AI has already opened its second site in Vidacity at LaunchPad @ One-North, where startups can look forward to hackathons, workshops, and networking events to co-develop solutions and share specialised knowledge.

Ground-floor spaces will also be activated as innovation showcases, enabling startups to demonstrate their solutions to potential customers, investors, and corporate partners.

An innovation hub and living lab for high-impact startups

Located at Blk 69 of LaunchPad @ One-North, Vidacity @ Ayer Rajah is an innovation hub and living lab for high-impact startups, businesses, and the innovation ecosystem.

The refreshed concept offers event venues, co-working spaces by N9 offices, and F&B concept Venture Kitchen by Brewerkz Group.

Stage One opened its physical campus there in Oct 2025. A joint initiative by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) and the Economic Development Borad (EDB) and operated by Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE.SG), it is a one-stop platform that connects local and global startups, driving collaboration between startups, corporates, and innovation partners.
